Monica Mroz is an Associate Attorney at Fishwick & Associates where she handles complex civil cases. Monica is experienced in commercial litigation, employment discrimination and employment rights, and civil rights cases, in both federal and state court. Monica is also experienced in litigating claims for students against educational institutions for breach of contract, fraud and consumer protection violations.
Monica received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University in 1992 and her J.D. from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law in 1999. She is a member of the Virginia Bar and the California Bar.
Prior to joining Fishwick & Associates, Monica worked for Lichtenstein Law Group PLC, Lichtenstein Fishwick PLC, and Woods Rogers PLC. Monica also served as a pro se law clerk for the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia for two years where she worked primarily on the Court’s docket of civil rights cases filed by prison inmates. Before moving to Virginia, Monica worked in San Francisco, CA, with a small firm doing plaintiff's employment discrimination.
